No-bake Peanut Butter Balls
When our family wants a fast sweet treat we make Peanut Butter balls! They are no-bake and filled with healthy ingredients like: oats, natural peanut butter, toasted coconut flakes, and ground flax seed. I also like these in place of a energy bar when I am mountain biking or hiking.

Ingredients
- 1 cup old fashioned oats
- 2/3 cup coconut flakes toasted
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup ground flaxseed or wheat germ
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
- 1/4 cup agave
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions
- Lightly toast coconut flakes over medium heat.
- Combine dry ingredients (oats, coconut, flax & chocolate chips) & mix until combined.
- Add wet ingredients (peanut butter, agave & vanilla) to dry and mix until well incorporated.
- Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes then form into quarter size (plus) balls.

- Makes approximately 20 balls.
