Description

This casserole-style baked oatmeal dish is great for cold mornings! Made in a 8x10 casserole dish, this recipe will feed a hungry mob.

Ingredients

  • 2 c rolled oats
  • 1⁄2 c raisins
  • 1 c shredded coconut
  • 2 chopped apples
  • 2 1⁄2 c rice milk
  • 1⁄2 c slivered almonds

Instructions

1.Arrange ingredients in layers as listed below.
1/3 Oats
1/2 Raisins
1/2 Coconut
1/3 Oats
All of the apples
1/2 Milk
Raisins
Oats
Coconut
Almonds
Milk
2. Bake at 350 for 30-40 min.

Notes

If you do not have rice milk you can either make your own rice milk (search for our Rice Milk recipe), or substitute another milk alternative.
