After spending time abroad (Nick in India & Shae in Palau) our paradigm about personal responsibility towards poverty became apparent. We are excited and privileged to give 10% of our profits to organizations that provide food and water to the truly destitute of our world.
There are so many options and ways to get involved with poverty. While considering how we could get involved I (Nick) stumbled upon a Podcast: Poverty Unlocked. As I learned about all the facets of poverty I fell in love with what a non-profit organization called Food for the Hungry (FH) was doing in communities world wide.
Their approach to relieving the hopeless is more than a handout. We are excited to Partner with FH by sponsoring children in Guatemala. This sponsorship provides for their basic needs, quality education, access to medical care and a trained community leader that understands local culture/paradigms that offers training, counseling and can effectively lead lasting change.
Here is a short video about the organization:

We challenge you to get involved in some way!
