Healthy Cold Cereal Makeover

In the Peterson house we have kicked our Wheaties (traditional cold cereal) to the curb and have a new weekday breakfast tradition that’s super easy, healthy, filling and delicious! It’s packed with fresh fruit, whole grains, healthy fats, protein – it’s everything you need to start your day!
Mornings are pretty hectic and while toast and smoothies, traditionally our go-to breakfast, are good we need some variety. Whole grain cold cereals are a great quick breakfast option. We gave cold cereal a make over by combing several cereals, fruits and nuts for a delicious and power-packer packed breakfast!
This (Made-Over) Cold Cereal is pretty versatile and can be modified with different types of whole grain cereals, grains, fruits and nuts. Here is our combination:

- Shredded Wheat
- Bran Flakes
- Kashi Cereal
- Banana
- Fresh Mango
- Fresh Blueberries
- Walnuts & Pecans
- Old Fashion Oats
- Milled Flax Seed
- Unsweetend Almond Milk
