Easy Homemade French Fries

I am a sucker for kitchen gear! Some time ago I came across a Mandoline slicer at a local discount department store and now shaping spuds into perfect homemade french fries is a snap!
If you regularly slice veggies a Mandoline slicer may be a tool for you. I primarily use my Mandoline slicer for French fries but have seen other cooks use them to tackle tasks from shredding cabbage for coleslaws to chopping onions. For homemade French Fries the Mandoline is quick, allows for varying sized cuts and all my fries come out the same thickness.
Homemade French Fries are great with veggie burgers and sandwiches. Making them from scratch is cheap, easy and gives you more control on the seasonings and the amount of fat they may or may not contain.
Homemade French Fries

Seasonings
Instructions
1. Cut Potatoes.
2. Add oil and seasonings
3. Bake @ 400 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown.
Tips
I use parchment paper on my pan when making fries so they don't stick.
Sometimes I add some sweet potatoes and carrots chunks with my fries for added color and nutrition.
