Our Story...

Veggie Meal-Maker exists to meet a need. As a newly married couple, we labored to plan and organize our meals and vegetarian lifestyle. Sundays were spent creating the week's menu, searching for new recipes and shopping.

As time passed, our enthusiasm diminished and meal-planning quickly became a chore. Planning happened at each meal rather than the week before, shopping trips became more impulsive and the meals dwindled to dissatisfying and unhealthy.

While listening to the radio we heard of a meal planning service that offered menus, shopping lists and easy recipes. After checking out the site and seeing that it did not offer vegetarian or vegan options, we found ourselves wanting this type of service personalized to our needs.

We searched the Web and found no suitable service. Then we thought, “why not make our own?”

This is the origin of VeggieMealMaker.com. The idea budded as an opportunity to make our lives easier, but quickly blossomed into an opportunity to meet others' needs including your's. We have labored to make a useful, informative and affordable site that helps you and your family save time, save money and eat healthy!
